Mini Sudoku Tips & Strategies
Start with Givens
Focus on the pre-filled numbers (shown in blue) first. Use them to eliminate possibilities in related rows, columns, and boxes.
Scan Technique
Scan each row and column to find where a specific number can go. If a number can only fit in one cell, that's your answer.
Box Focus
Work on one 2x3 box at a time. Look for numbers that are missing and see which cells they can legally occupy.
Process of Elimination
If you're stuck, try eliminating what can't go in a cell. Sometimes knowing what's wrong helps you find what's right.
